The Environment

This isn't a consulting shop bolting Snowflake onto legacy delivery. It's a practice with genuine, multi-award-winning Snowflake credentials at both the regional and global level, one of the most credible Snowflake delivery environments in the country.

The role

You'll design, build and manage data solutions on Snowflake for enterprise clients across industries, genuine client-facing delivery, not internal tooling. Day to day: building data products on Snowflake, developing pipelines, data modelling and mapping, integrating Snowflake with Azure, AWS or GCP depending on the client, and using tools like dbt to do it properly. You'll also optimise performance and storage as platforms scale, not just stand things up once and move on. GenAI is being embedded into how the practice builds and delivers, so there's real exposure to AI-ready platform work as it develops.

What you'll bring

• Minimum 5+ years in data engineering and data warehousing
• Highly proficient in SQL for complex queries, extraction, manipulation and analysis at scale
• Proficient in Python, Java or Scala
• Strong experience setting up and managing Snowflake infrastructure, not just querying it
• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake security, RBAC, and performance tuning/optimisation
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and tooling
• Strong communication skills and ability to pick things up quickly in a fast-moving practice

Good to have

• dbt experience specifically, given how embedded it is in the team's delivery approach
• Prior consulting or client-facing delivery background
